Purple Monkey Dishwasher Carnival - 2 Nights at OTP!!!

It's Winter Carnival in Steamboat, and that means it's time for a party. From the OTP, you can see all sorts of cool stuff, from kids on skis getting towed down Lincoln by horses, to fireworks, to musing on the OTP locals, to the spectacle which is about to ensue - The Purple Monkey Dishwasher Carnival!!

Four bands will emerge from the depths of the OTP basement during this weekend. Two drum kits, the house organ, a thundering bass rig, screaming guitar amps, a freekin' trombone - this place will be a raucous mess!! Our guy Neal "Fro" Evans {from Dopapod} will be drumming much of the night, as his bands Photon (galaxy-funk), Elephant Wrecking Ball (jazz-based perfect-trainwreck), and Cashed Fools (bluesadellic funkacide) will all intermingle with The Balkun Brothers (bluesy-melty metal). The Balkun Brothes are guitarist Steve and drummer Nick, they are also a part of Cashed Fools with Fro and Dan Africano {bassist of Thievery Corporation), which puzzle-piecing together Photon is Fro and Dan and Jimmy Dunstan {he is an alien} along with raging guitarist Tim Wendel, and then Jimmy and Tim hop off and tag in Berklee trombonist Scott Flynn as he is the elephant in Elephant Wrecking Ball {with Fro and Dan - also Berklee}. Oh yeah, Steve too - Berklee.

What the hell is going on here? This will be a proper throwdown!!
