WHAT IS THE PURPLE WALK?

Purple Walk for Endometriosis is a community event that brings individuals and groups together to raise awareness of endometriosis, a significant condition that affects at least 10,000 Waikato people, including teenagers.

In these uncertain and constantly changing times we have made the very tough decision to change the Purple Walk to a virtual format, to be held throughout March. The health and welfare of our staff, volunteers, participants and supporters is at the forefront of this decision.

We're excited with the opportunity created to raise awareness of endometriosis in an exciting new format and we would love for you to still walk around Hamilton Lake or your own favourite 3km route, anytime in the month of March.

Help us to raise awareness of endometriosis by taking a photo on your walk - ideally dressed up in Purple - and tag #purplewalk on social media.

Funds raised through registrations and raffle ticket sales go towards the education and support services provided by local charitable trust, Insight Endometriosis.
