    Event description

    Draft and Stitch

    Duration: 2 x 6 hour sessions - 15 and 29 October

Discover the simple pleasure of slow making. I will guide you through the fundamentals of taking a 2 dimensional idea into a wearable.

With minimal equipment, traditional practices and simple stitching techniques you will draft and construct a sleeved shell top by hand.

All tools provided. You are also welcome to bring your favorite scissors or sewing equipment.

The course fee does not include fabric cost.

A large colour range of ethically produced merino can be ordered on the first Saturday at approx $50 per metre.

Merino is a great year round fabric and a good stable knit to work with.

Bring something to eat for lunch, there is a fully equipped kitchen or head out to a nearby cafe and be prepared for a couple of days of making, stories and laughter.
