Puzzles ‘n Beats @ Hobee’s SJ 8/20

Hip happening event where you have the puzzles 🧩 and DJ Dia Deka has the beats 🎧.

Good news everyone! We have our next non-house-party Puzzles ’n Beats! Still too big for our britches, and we’re graduating to a larger public venue, the queer-owned Hobee’s Restaurant & Beer Garden in Downtown SJ!

Our event will be 6-9 PM in their outdoor beer garden, which will be open to the public for dinner as well. All ages welcome! 2 item minimum requested to support the venue. That can range from $10 for non alc drink and a coffee cake, $15-20 for dinner (small menu), and $12 ish for a cocktail. 

Street parking available and free after 6pm but it might be a bit of a walk. Closest public garage is San Pedro Square.

We will have sliding scale tickets to predict and control capacity, as well as to support Dia, Scoby, and Hobee’s in the work of hosting these events. We’re using Humanitix since they donate 100% of their profits from ticket fees to charity. NOTAFLOF 🤗

Bring your favorite little mystery and enjoy QT with good people and great tunes. Puzzles can be anything from solo missions to group efforts; this experience is truly a choose-your-own-adventure. We’ll have a few smaller/easier jigsaw puzzles available, but be forewarned, they did come from a thrift store and we haven’t checked if all the pieces are present
