Perth Velocity House League Rec Season Registration - Autumn 2025

Welcome to the first House League season for 2025! As with our previous season, this is a "recreational" ("rec") season, aimed at being a fun and developmental season of hockey for players of varying skill levels. This will be an 8 week season, running Thursday nights from 10 April through to 29 May. Games will run within our usual House League hours of 6:25pm-9:30pm.

Registration closes 5pm on Saturday, 5 April - but we are also inviting everyone who has signed up for House League to a free season kick-off scrimmage 6:30-8:30 on Thursday 3 April! So get your rego in by that night and come for a hit.

MEMBERSHIPS

As we have entered a new calendar year, any 2024 insurance, club and Skate WA memberships have lapsed. Everyone requires Skate WA membership/insurance and membership to an affiliated club to play.

We have been busy finding ways to add even more value to PV memberships than ever before. For 2025 our members can enjoy many exclusive perks, including automatic discounts on House League registration fees, drop-in scrimmage freebies and discounts, benefits for players representing the club at the state or national level, and more! We're excited to be introducing new benefits and initiatives, and will be sharing full details very soon. Although we've added additional benefits, our club membership fee remains unchanged this year.

If you have not already registered this year, after completing checkout on this site, you will need to renew (or register) your membership/insurance by visiting our membership/insurance registration form. Please note membership/insurance is now charged as part of that form, and not part of the season fees charged here in Humanitix. This is a separate once per calendar year fee, covering memberships/insurance for any seasons or sanctioned events you play in until 31 December 2025 for just $160.

You will not be insured or registered to play until this is completed. If you have any issues completing the form/payment please reach out to the club.

--Tropics--

We also welcome members of the Tropics club to join our House League - there is a separate set of registrations options for Tropics club members. Note: All players registering under Tropics will have their membership/insurance status verified with Skate WA prior to the beginning of the season.

TEAM DRAFT / BRING A MATE

As this is a relatively short season focused on player development and fun hockey, all players will be placed into a team draft this season, so could be drafted into any captain's team (ie there is no "BYO team offer this season). We are however trying a "bring a mate" initiative for player referrals this season: If you bring in one or more new House League players, you will have the option to be drafted onto the same team as any (or all) of those new players. If any of them sign up as PV members this season, you will also get a $25 referral discount on your next season's fees.* This year, anyone who didn't play with PV or House League in 2024 will count as "new" players (so if you bring back a mate that played in 2023 or earlier, you're also eligible for the referral discount the same as bringing in someone completely new!)

OTHER KEY INFO

• As this season has 8 weeks, FIFO regos include credit for 4 weeks.
  
• There are some minimum equipment requirements to play inline hockey, which you can find on our Player Resources page.
• As with our previous rec seasons, players will be drafted into one-off teams.
• Sets of jerseys will again be loaned out for players who need them - if you have one still, please return it on/by the first week of the season.
• The final format of the season will be confirmed once we know how many teams we have.
• A fixed draft date will be set around 6th-8th April - any captains unable to attend will be proxied by a member of the Exec Committee or HL Subcommittee.
• As with our previous rec season, the winning team will be awarded an opportunity to celebrate by enjoying a meal together.
• Players will again be limited to 3 goals each per game this Rec season, to encourage sharing the glory with your teammates!
