Dr Elizabeth Settles grew up on a small farm in rural Kentucky, USA. After studying Microbiology and Music Performance at the University of Kentucky, she earned her DVM from Auburn University. Elizabeth completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the University of Missouri and a dual residency in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. She is now a Consulting Internal Medicine Specialist at Animal Emergency Australia, focusing on complex cases involving immune system and endocrine dysfunction.

Dr Stephanie Pattison
BSc, BVMS, MANZCVS (Emergency & Critical Care)

Dr Stephanie Pattison graduated from Murdoch University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology and a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. After starting in general practice, she found her passion in emergency medicine, earning Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Emergency and Critical Care in 2015. Stephanie, who has been with Perth Vet Emergency for over 10 years, focuses on feline medicine and toxicity management. As Clinical Manager, she advances the skills of graduate vets and nurses and regularly shares her expertise at seminars. At home, she cares for her chocolate Persian, Bear Cat, a valued blood donor for other felines. Stephanie is passionate about helping seriously ill patients recover and return to their families.
