Ukrainian-style Easter eggs, or pysanky, are eggshells that are decorated with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a batik process using layers of wax and dye to “write” on eggshells. The instructor, Crystal Potthoff, has been creating pysanky for over 16 years. Join her to create your own pysanky egg and learn the history of this ancient art.
All materials provided. No experience needed.
Recommended for ages 12 and up. Children under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.
