Q: Are we easily fooled?
Nobody likes to think of themselves as the most gullible person in a room, but our brains interpret things and respond to the information available to us. Sometimes, what you see or feel isn’t accurate.
But how easy is it to be fooled? And can we harness our brains capacity to be tricked for good? Join us for a quick-fire quiz, quite a good demo, and Q&A with our panel of speakers.
Dr Felicity Braithwaite, Postdoctoral Fellow at UniSA and Physiotherapist, research interests include pain, osteoarthritis, 'sham' interventions and blinding in clinical trials, and placebo effects.

Professor Hannah Keage, Professor of Psychology at UniSA. Her work focuses on cognitive ageing and cognitive impairments, such as dementia and delirium. She co-leads the Cognitive Ageing and Impairment Neurosciences (CAIN) laboratory.

Dr Hayley Leake, Research Fellow at UniSA. Her research focuses on chronic pain management, pain education and digital health, particularly in adolescence. Hayley used her understanding of pain to achieve Sole Survivor of Australian Survivor: Brain v Brawn.
