Q art - Art Classes for the LGBTQI+ Community
Event description
Art creates an opportunity to find what makes us come alive - and it can be a lot of fun too.
If you'd love to find new ways to express yourself and gain some new skills, these classes are for you.
Facilitated by staff from Art School Co. in partnership with Suicide Prevention in Communities (SPIC), our hope is that we can support the wellbeing of our local LGBTQI+ Community by providing an art-based, non-threatening experience.
With weekly focuses, techniques and mediums we also focus on the individual student. We aim to see you growing your confidence, creativity and ability, whilst walking with you each step of the way. No skills are needed - we believe we are all creative and can create.
We will be running alongside the School Term dates:
Starting 11th July for 10 weeks
Every Monday evening 6.30pm-8.30pm
COST: $8 per class ($80 to be paid up front) This class is open to people aged 16+
Normally valued at $300, we are pleased to offer this subsidised price of $80, because of community grants.
# A Note on ACCESS: Unfortunately the studio does NOT have disabled access. Please contact Ben for further information.
