Q-Eclectica Volume 1

Q-eclectica celebrates queer community and the diversity among us. We showcase djs playing music they love which is unbounded by genre or expectation. Expect the unexpected!

Volume 1 will take place at the Avalon Bar. Join us as we launch to the public in our first ticketed event. Whether you’re a bass head, techno fiend or girly pop icon, there’s something for everyone in our lineup of djs spanning multiple genres plus burlesque and dance performances throughout the night to keep you wanting more.

Coming alone or keen to build community within the queer dance space? Grab one of our limited early entry tickets (limited to just 20). This ticket includes exclusive entry to the space from 8-9 PM during our low sensory hour. Join us for dinner and a chat in a less overwhelming environment before the main event kicks off at 9 PM with our first DJ. Your ticket includes food as well as the option to play some games and make some new friends!

Q: I’m not queer but I’d still really like to come to support, am I welcome?

A: everyone is welcome at q-eclectica events! While we are focussing on queer community, this extends to allies and everyone is welcome provided they are respectful of this being an inclusive space.

Q: I am excited to attend my first queer event but don’t know what to expect, can you give me an idea?

A: welcome, we are so excited to host you for your first queer event! It’s for exactly this reason that we’ve launched our early entry tickets. These give you an opportunity to meet people and explore the space before it gets busy and loud. If this is your first queer event, we recommend purchasing one of these tickets to give yourself an opportunity to settle in the space before everything kicks off.
