Learn how to dig deep and uncover the sparks that ignite great stories. This masterclass will explore how to find, gather, and make sense of research and inspiration to help shape your creative work - whether you're just starting out or refining an idea in progress.

Reimena Yee is an awards-decorated strange and fancy graphic novelist, illustrator and designer originally from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She wrote and illustrated Séance Tea Party, My Aunt is a Monster, The Carpet Merchant of Konstantiniyya and the latest retelling of the life and legends of Alexander the Great.

Doors open at 12:45pm for an 1pm start. The masterclass will run until 2:30pm with no planned break.
Feel free to bring your own writing supplies. Q-Lit will have pens, paper and materials relevant to the masterclass available on the day.
Before and after the masterclass there will be two other masterclasses that you're welcome to attend:

- Free tickets allow anyone from the community to attend
- $15 & $30 tickets are for those financially able to support Q-Lit's operations and future events
- Auslan tickets are for those who require an Auslan interpreter for the event
