Event description

QAMH is inviting the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing workforce to our online consultations to have your say in creating a Core Capability Framework for our sector.

This frame work will recognise and map the essential capabilities and guide the growth of the non-clinical community mental health workforce.

Who should attend

If you’re working in the community mental health and wellbeing space in Queensland and have a deep understanding of non-clinical community mental health practice through a:

    • supervision or leadership role (e.g. Seniors, Team Leaders, Managers etc), OR
    • recruitment and training role (e.g. Training and Development or HR).

    Why is this important?

A framework such as this informs and integrates our sector’s career pathways, supports attraction and nurtures growth of our workforce, acts as pillar for advocacy and recognises the importance and role of community mental health and wellbeing in the broader eco-system of mental health and our community.

    ONLINE CONSULTATION DATES

    • Tuesday 20 May, 9:30am - 11:30pm
    • Monday 26 May, 1:30pm - 3:30pm

**We have in-person consultations in Cairns, Townsville and Toowoomba, so if you can attend these in person instead we would love to meet you. More details here**

There is a limited capacity per session, as we will be collaborating in break out sessions, so don't delay to register.

The online consultation link will be emailed to the address provided prior to each session.

This will be an evolving piece of work over the next few years.
To make sure that it’s fit for purpose, you can also join the mailing list for further updates and ways to be involved.

Together, let’s build a framework that supports a thriving, capable, and connected Community Mental Health and Wellbeing workforce.
