Creating the confidence, capability and conditions to lead conversations that support growth and strengthen practice in schools

Strong teams are built through purposeful conversations.

Coaching and Conversations for Change supports school leaders and educators to develop the skills, confidence and approaches needed to build capability in others.

Aligned with AITSL’s research on coaching, this practical two-day workshop explores how a coaching approach can strengthen professional conversations and support improvement within your context.

Across two days, participants strengthen their skills through guided practice, targeted feedback and practical application of a coaching approach to the conversations that matter most in their context.

Participants will also explore practical structures, including a group coaching protocol, to support collaborative reflection and problem-solving within teams.

Evidence-informed, strategy-aligned

Informed by AITSL’s research on coaching and aligned with the Department of Education’s Brighter Futures strategy to build capability and strengthen practice.

Why is coaching an effective strategy for building capability and supporting change?
How can we use coaching qualities and techniques to strengthen our conversations?
How can we listen with curiosity and ask questions that deepen thinking and lead to action?
How can a coaching approach create the conditions for stronger collaboration and collective capability?
