Event description

Quorum Sense, in partnership with regional regenerative agriculture groups, is hosting two Quorum Exchanges, one in the South Island and one in the North Island, in June 2023.

This North Island Event is being held for farmers, growers and anyone else curious to learn more.

The Quorum Exchange is an opportunity for you to grow connections with other people, our soil, plants and animals and help build our regenerative community here in Aotearoa New Zealand.

This one-day event begins with presentations, a chance to hear from inspiring, knowledgeable speakers and regen farmers. The afternoon will be dedicated to a farm visit. Then we are hosting a wonderful evening event with a panel Q&A session followed by dinner

This event will be jam packed full of great insights, wisdom and information bought to you by the following speakers:

Dr Charles "Merf' Merfield-leader of the BHU Future Framing Centre at Lincoln University will be talking about Soil Health-what it is, what it isn't, how to measure it and what farming practices can improve it.

Ross Johnson-A South Wairarapa sheep, cattle & arable farmer will be talking about his Regenerative Farming Journey over the last 3 years since the Wairarapa QExchange.

Katherine Gillespie-coach & facilitator with Growforte- will be talking about Building our Mental Fitness-how it all works and how you can strengthen your mental fitness and resilience.

Phyllis Tichinin -renowned within the regen community, will be exploring the microbial activity in our Soils and how Healthy Soils = Healthy plants, animals and humans.

The farm visit in the afternoon will be to Debbie & Darryl Coleman's Kimbolton Organic Dairy Farm-where they will take us on a tour to see how they are incorporating regenerative farming practices into their system.

All catering is included in the ticket price. Alcohol for the Dinner is BYO.

Come along to share your stories and aspirations with other like minded people.
