Qigong 6 Week Term - Bundeena
Description
This 6-week Qigong term offers a structured and supportive introduction to traditional Chinese movement and breath practices designed to cultivate balance, calm, and embodied awareness. The program focuses on learning 8 Pieces of Brocade and the Guigen Qigong series, two gentle sequences that emphasise fluid movement, coordinated breathing, and mindful attention.
Across the term, participants are invited to slow down, step out of habitual mental busyness, and reconnect with the body in a steady and grounded way. Drawing on principles from Chinese medicine, the practice explores the relationship between movement, breath, emotional regulation, and internal balance. Each session supports the circulation of Qi through the body, helping to release tension, improve posture, and promote a sense of ease.
Classes are suitable for complete beginners and are taught with clear, accessible instruction. With regular practice, Qigong can support improved energy, emotional steadiness, and a calmer, more settled state of mind.
Learn Qigong with experienced teacher Adam Wiltshire who has over 9 years of teaching experience. Adam has trained with master’s from around the world and teaches a mix of traditional Qigong and Tai Chi styles.
Class structure
All classes begin with a standing meditation, followed by a warm up series and the main Qigong forms for your class.
