This is a perfect workshop for those who are new to Qigong or those who want a taster of the Five Elements and or our teacher training program. (Everybody is welcome)

What is Qigong you ask.

Qi means energy gong means to work with or cultivate. So Qigong means Energy work.

Qigong is the great grandmother of Tai Chi.

Qigong is a healing modality and Tai Chi is a martial art.

Qigong and Tai Chi have very similar movements.

Qigong is a wonderful healing moving meditation that dates back to over 5000yrs and has proven health benefits and is suitable for all ages and levels. In this workshop we will focus on the Earth element (stomach & spleen) as our Qigong routine and a mindful meditation afterwards that will connect in with the spirit animal of the earth element the Golden Phoenix. We will also be covering the other 5 elements and the five gate points that are sensitive to Qi and you will learn how to activate them to feel your Qi. The Earth element resonates with the season of late summer and is associated with the virtues of confidence, patients, and trust, when we trust life we are able to fulfill our life purpose.

A BIT ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR:

Fay Savage-Winter head instructor of The Five Elements has over 25yrs of experience in the Wudang and Shaolin styles of Qigong and martial arts, and has taught and established schools in Australia and the U.K.

Fay's last trip to Asia was in 2020 before the world was thrown into chaos, fortunately things have settled and she is now able to reconnect with her masters again only this time she will be taking a team of 16 of her students and instructors with her.

You will be in safe hands when training with Fay as she guides you and teaches you this wonderful mindful, moving meditation that focuses on the Earth Element.
