Join James Cook University and QLD AI Hub Cairns as we launch our DEMO Day showcasing the amazing participants from the three month IMPACT10X AI Internship celebrating an exciting demonstration featuring the project teams pitches and prototypes. After months of research, prototyping and intensive business mentorship, these interns are ready to showcase their innovative AI solution. Come along and support our Cairns students, innovators and entrepreneurs.

Showcase: 9 - 11 am

Teleportal - development of an effective IoT energy solution for solar-powered underwater bots

Pasifik Forensic - development of a data-driven virtual solution in biometrics tracking for PNG

Orthovision - applying computer vision and machine learning for injury diagnostics (triage)

Virtual Mirror App - customised platform towards enhanced well-being using emotion detection +LLMs

Digital Twin-Student - applying LLMs and metahumans towards the future of precision education

Data Detectives - providing “data as a service” (DAAS) through machine learning + Power BI

Waivi - applying computer vision to assist in smart food preparation

iCanary - development of a deep-tech solution for improving air quality in smart buildings

Parent Pilot – development of a peer-to-peer parenting platform using blockchain for effective parenting

Equalance - applying a new GPS platform creating a gig economy for the local freelance workforce

Exhibit Showcase: 1 - 2pm
