Speakers Across All Education Levels:

We're bringing together a diverse panel of speakers from primary, secondary, tertiary, and TAFE levels of education. This is your chance to hear perspectives and insights from experts across the entire educational spectrum.

Featured Speakers:

Norena Mendiolea is the past President of the Queensland Society for Information Technology in Education (QSITE) and CESIS Project Officer at Townsville Catholic Education Office. Norena will explore the changes school educators are making to prepare our youth for the jobs of the future, detailing the strategic steps being taken to integrate AI and technology into the curriculum.

Dr Jay Burmeister is an award-winning Physics, Science and Information Technology teacher at Townville Grammar School. Jay will share experiences and stories about how teachers are using AI to make a difference in classrooms in our NQ region.

Following the presentations, we will have a lively Q & A panel session with our speakers.

Doors will open at 5 pm for networking for a 5:30 pm start.
