Queenstown Lakes Women is bringing BACK the Unconference!

After rave reviews in 2019 (once we'd convinced you all it was worth giving this weird ol' structure a try!), we thought we'd repeat the offering in 2020. Enter, COVID19....

So, here we are - nearly at the end of the year & knackered - but we wanted to create something special to end the year on.

Join us for a morning where we combine all the best bits of a conference (networking, conversation and discussion), without any boring speakers, useless lanyards or shitty coffee.

It will be welcoming. Inclusive. Relaxed. Non-corporate. Fun. Inspiring. Everything you need, after one hell of a year.

ABOUT AN UNCONFERENCE

At an Unconference, the participants create the agenda: so issues, ideas and passions that you want to discuss get scheduled and put front & centre. Sound intimidating? Don't worry, it's painless - we'll be walking you through the process with us.

Tickets are $85 and include a delicious Sherwood morning tea + lunch, with great coffee and a mulled wine at the end of the session.

Everyone is welcome - and just noting that ticket numbers are strictly limited, so once they're snapped up, that's it! Make sure you don't miss out on what will be one of our best events of the year.

SCHOLARSHIPS

As we did last year, we'll have scholarships available on an as-needs / no questions asked basis. We can offer a limited number of 50% off tickets and some at a koha rate (i.e. pay what you can). If you'd like to ask for one of these (no shame here, we won't tell anyone), just drop us an email.

These are possible thanks to the generosity of other women - if you're able to "gift" an extra ticket or contribution towards one, there are options available when you purchase the tickets. Thank you to those of you who have offered to help us again with this, in 2020.

AND we are also accepting sponsorship (of course!) - so if you're a business who would like to offer a contribution to support other local women to attend the Unconference, we'd love to hear from you!

Last year, 25% of our attendees joined on a scholarship / discount, which made the event so much more accessible. This is an amazingly generous place - thanks for being part of a it.
