The Queensland Medical Women’s Society (QMWS) warmly invites members and guests to join us for our upcoming Dinner Meeting on Wednesday 20th May 2026.

We are delighted to welcome an outstanding panel of General, Breast and Endocrine Surgeons as our guest speakers:

Dr Teresa Nano MBBS (Hons), FRACS is an accomplished Breast and Endocrine Surgeon with expertise across all aspects of breast cancer care—including reconstruction—as well as thyroid and parathyroid surgery. She has a particular interest in minimally invasive techniques and is a passionate educator and contributor to surgical training and quality improvement in Australia.

Joining her, Dr Susan Bell is a General, Breast and Endocrine Surgeon with a special interest in oncoplastic breast surgery. With international training and extensive experience across Queensland’s public and private systems, she is known for her meticulous, patient-centred approach and dedication to teaching as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland.

Also speaking, Dr Sally Meade MBBS, FRACS brings over 20 years of experience in Breast and Endocrine Surgery. Having provided long-standing specialist care in North Queensland before returning to Brisbane, she combines clinical excellence with a strong commitment to education, mentorship, and multidisciplinary patient care.
