Qona Presents // WildAsh Single Launch @ PFR Lounge Brisbane

Qona Presents: Brisbane's WildAsh bring their explosive modern hard rock/metalcore fusion on Saturday 8th February to launch their newest single with Mass Sky Raid, Citadel, and Aeon Nexus at PFR Lounge in Fortitude Valley.

WildAsh are one of Brisbane city's freshest modern metal bands that aim to blend nostalgic 00's hard rock with the latest cutting edge metalcore sensibilities. Exploding on to the stage since as recent as 2023 WildAsh have impressed upon the scene in no time and wasted no time in getting on to local festivals and supporting touring artists like Uni/Vs and War Bear. They aim to continue to make deliberate forward steps in early 2025 by headlining PFR lounge for their latest single.

While the legendary veterans, Mass Sky Raid can no longer make it, we have the fresh and heavy Virtues stepping up to support the performance. After a massive year touring with Complexant and Lycanthrope, Virtues bring their unique grinding take on metalcore to this intimate show.

Meanjin newbloods Citadel are on a warpath with a slew successful singles following their explosive debut EP in 2022 that expertly blends progressive metal themes that don't compromise on their modern metal roots.

Brisbane's progressive metalcore outfit Aeon Nexus melds futuristic djent grooves and raw metal aggression with ethereal pop sensibilities to create a sound that makes can't be pigeonholed or predicted. Taking influences from modern rock deities Sleep Token, Spiritbox, and Tesseract, the quartet aim to take the stage by storm.
