Qoya "Feel It All" - Women's Movement Workshop
Event description
Qoya is a movement practice that was created to answer the question "how do I get out of my head and into my body?"
It is a beautiful combination of dance, yoga, sensual movement, ritual and community connection. It's accessible for all ages and levels of fitness/ability and is an opportunity for you to explore how it feels to move without fear of judgement (from yourself or others)
I've been qualified as a Qoya teacher since 2017 and have taught workshops and assisted teacher trainings in New Zealand, Melbourne, Sydney and Byron Bay (now beautiful Tamborine Mountain!). I love creating cosy, welcoming spaces that feel held and safe for participants to show up as they are.
Each class has a theme and this month's is "Feel It All".
The invitation is to explore how it feels in your body to feel all of your feelings, deeply and fully.
We will journey with our own capacity to be highly nuanced and deeply feeling humans. Are we able to allow ourselves to feel the beauty and joy amongst grief and rage? Can we consciously, through the power of our own embodiment and self-compassion, choose to expand our capacity FEEL?
We explore this through the power of music, the arc of the Qoya class and the various somatic tools and practices that are woven throughout our time together. The focus is on your personal, inner experience and there are also moments of community connection throughout the class.
It's an intimate yoga studio space, so please shoot me a message to check availability and secure your spot. Exact address will be emailed the day before (I'm in North Tamborine)
You can pre-buy a ticket here or you can pay cash on the day, just send me a message to confirm your spot x
