This legendary venue began its life as the Luna Park amusement centre and went on to host a myriad of memorable events, including ballroom dances, song contests, discos, markets, weddings, and university exams.

About the speaker
Meet Dr James Lergessner, a distinguished author and historian, whose prolific career began as a university professor, and has led to the publication of 25 non-fiction and fiction works.
Notably, Dr Lergessner authored the first professional book on Cloudland, published by Boolarong Press. His extensive contributions to Queensland’s history have earned him recognition from prominent institutions.
