Quality Aged Care Health Outcomes: The importance of research informed clinical leadership

Australia is not alone in facing an aged care crisis. Research informed clinical leadership is critical in improving health outcomes.
UOW Liverpool presents international expert, Professor Betty Ferrell.
Inducted as a “Living Legend” by the American Academy of Nursing in 2021, Professor Ferrell serves as co-chairperson of the National Consensus Project for Quality Palliative Care.
Professor Ferrell will share insights from the recently published United States National Imperative to Improve Nursing Home Quality report. Professor Ferrell is Chair of The Committee on the Quality of Care in Nursing Homes Director of Nursing Research and Education and a Professor at City of Hope in California.
The Vice Chancellor of UOW Professor Patricia Davidson will lead an expert panel of clinical leaders following Professor Ferrell’s address:

This expert panel of clinical nurse leaders will discuss practical solutions to drive quality in aged care in a post pandemic and post aged care commission environment.
