MBIE’s Chief Science Advisor Dr Gill Jolly will open the session welcoming Cathy and explaining where NZ Government policy lies on the science. The webinar will be presented by Dr Foley, who will explain the technologies and their increasingly critical role in all walks of life – from healthcare to infrastructure. She’ll give an international perspective on the global race for quantum supremacy, and why you should care. Dodd-Walls Director, Prof. Frédérique Vanholsbeeck will outline some of the businesses which have emerged from the Dodd-Walls Centre, their journey and the problems they solve in healthcare, communications and agriculture.
