Are you a woman living and/or working within the Fleurieu Peninsula as an artist, teacher, carer, healer, or other service provider and need time out for you? Do you wish you had a support group who understands what you're challenges are and who you could regularly meet to checkin and refocus? Would the support of objective peers help quiet that inner critic from to taking over?

Come and join like-minded women for an afternoon of creativity, connection and conversation while clarifying your achievements, refocusing your goals and setting achievable actions. As peer mentors, we will support each other in our goals whether it be work, family, social or dealing with life challenges that occur along the way.

We will meet and be nourished and supported, hosted by Annette Rohde of Fresh Ginger Creative at her space in her home at Aldinga Beach, the Curiosity Cafe.

The day will begin with a nourishing bowl of food on arrival. Once settled, we will work on a creative project to settle our minds and focus on the present. Then we will look at what we have struggled with, what achievements we've made, what our goals are, what support we need and what support we have to give. The aim is to focus on our strengths, quiet that inner critic, and really see the possibilities in what we can achieve that will move us towards our vision. As a small group, we will provide support to each other to grow.

The creative accountability afternoon retreat will be held on a quarterly basis from July 2022. The creative project for July 2022 is still to be confirmed - it could be making your own journal, playing with clay to make a paint palette or a oil burner, or creating a piece of art.

Includes all materials (plus firing and glazing if making items with clay), lunch on arrival, coffee and cake or a glass of wine.
