Queen for a Day Presents: Crown Jewels

Producers Anna Barden and Kate Greathouse, in partnership with Stomping Ground Comedy, present the Second Annual Queen for a Day: A Royal Women's Comedy Festival! This weekend only, each show highlights women and female-identifying performers from different backgrounds in a celebration of feminism and womankind, as they share their comedic talent with the community.

Pray be upstanding for Her Majesty’s Crown Jewels! The headlining stand-up show of Queen for a Day features five different comics closing out this year’s festival. Headlining Queen for a Day 2023 is KeLanna Spiller, with supporting acts Payton Payne, Anna Barden, Lucy Perry, Kate Greathouse, and Britainy Goss.

KeLanna Spiller is a stand-up comedian originally from Pine Bluff, AR who currently lives in Dallas, TX. Within just a few years, Spiller has featured at the Addison and Arlington Improv with national headliners (John Henton and Robert Powell just to name a few) and was a finalist in the Funniest Comic in Texas competition hosted by the Improv Comedy Club. Spiller's high-energy storytelling and observational humor have coined her as one of Dallas’ local favorites; but she made her mark on the world in her Comedy Central television debut on Kevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City. Since her television debut, Spiller can be seen performing at clubs all over the world.

Ticket prices are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Rated M for Mature/18+. Stomping Ground is BYOB. Alcoholic beverages are allowed for all attendees over 21 years old; patrons are asked to enjoy them responsibly.
