Step into the wild with QUEENS OF THE JUNGLE - DUNEDIN.

Te Wai Pounamu based bass-enthusiasts KTB, RUINZ & RASPONSABLE are dj's adept at playing many genres but these ladies all naturally gravitate towards Jungle. 

They're committed in their love of the genre and if you've seen their sets before, you know they bring the fire every time.

Each with their own style, they mix a range of Jungle sub-genres, while acknowledging its roots and evolution from the 90's to today. 

Join QUEENS OF THE JUNGLE - DUNEDIN on Saturday 9th May at Pearl Diver, for a journey deep into the Heart of the Jungle.

Warming up from 8.30pm is RAFARI - the combination of dj's Rasponsable & Jungle Fari.

Jungle history:

Jungle emerged in the early 90's in the UK and has its roots in a diverse mix of Afro-Caribbean sound system culture, electronic dance music, and urban British life. It is considered to be a product of the multicultural underground scene in London and Bristol, serving as a faster, more intense evolution of Rave music - breakbeat hardcore.
