Queensland Conservation Council is turning 50, and to help celebrate this significant milestone we are hosting a special dinner to celebrate.

The 50th Anniversary Dinner is an opportunity for our supporters, both past and present, to connect or reconnect and celebrate the last 50 years of great triumphs (and a few sad defeats) with an eye for the next 50 years.

What would Queensland be like without the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park? Without the Daintree rainforest? Without laws to protect threatened species, without recycling? QCC and our network of member groups have had a hand in all these achievements.

QCC is not just an institution, it's also a community. That’s why we’re inviting our friends and supporters to be part of this auspicious occasion and be a part of history. Tickets are limited so get in early and grab your seat.

The event is being held on Saturday 19th October at the Victoria Park Golf Course, starting at 6:30pm.

Tickets are $75 for an adult, $50 for concession (student/pensioner/health care card holder) which includes -

A delicious vegetarian meal
Complimentary drink on arrival (with cash bar available on the night)
A few short speeches
Live music

Come and hear about QCC's plans for the future, how we can grow stronger to tackle the growing threats that face us over the next 50 years. How we can continue to be a hub for the Queensland environment movement, and welcome the next generation of nature guardians.
