Queensland In Song Concert 2
7:30pm Friday 10 June 2022 @ St Laurence’s Edmund Rice Performing Arts Centre
As part of their Queensland Day tribute, Voices of Birralee will host a combined primary schools celebration to reflect on all things Queensland. The Birralee Singers will be joined by choirs from:
- Ascot State School
- Eagle Junction State School
- Genesis Christian College
- Indooroopilly State School
- St Laurence’s College
- The Gap State School
- Wilston State School
New music by two emerging Queensland composers, Ally Dunk and Abigail Lui, will be showcased as well as works from composers who write superbly for young voices like Katherine Ruhle, Tim Sherlock and Stuart Gillard. It will be a wonderful evening of uplifting music for all the family to enjoy! The rousing massed finale of over 300 young performers will be a special memory for performers and audience alike.
Tickets are $20 per adult and $15 for concession / school & uni students. Children under 5 are free.
