Calling all QLD medical students!

We are thrilled to invite all Queensland medical students to mark their calendars for a truly special evening! The Queensland Medical Students' Council (QLDMSC) is hosting its annual Charity Gala, and we promise it will be an unforgettable night filled with dancing, networking, and a chance to make a positive impact on the community! 

Date: Saturday, 5th October 2024
Time: 7pm-11pm 
Location: The Island, Gold Coast (Glasshouse) 

Your ticket includes:

  • A range of delicious canapés
  • A 4hr beverage package
  • A roaming photographer
  • A donation to one of three charities.

The three charities you can choose to donate to include: 

  1. Indigenous Literacy Foundation: The Indigenous Literacy Foundation is an Australian not-for-profit founded in 2011 that works to address the educational disadvantages faced by Indigenous Australian children and young people by providing access to books and literacy programs.
  2. SANE Australia: SANE Australia has almost thirty years of experience in improving mental health services for, and attitudes towards, people affected by mental illness, delivering a range of services including peer-to-peer online forums, StigmaWatch (a Helpline providing advice and referrals), and a lived experiences speakers program. 
  3. Second Bite: SecondBite is a Leading Food Charity and Rescue organisation. Dedicated to Rescuing Surplus Food for Australian Charities, Community Groups & Food Banks Nationwide.
