Queensland Women: My Story, My Voice - Writing Workshop
Event description
Queensland Women: My Story, My Voice
Lori-Jay Ellis, CEO of Queensland Writers Centre, hosts a workshop to encourage women and girls to participate in writing, and use writing to empower themselves and ensure their voice is heard and their stories told. The session will include a Pomodoro writing session, writing for 25 minutes followed by 5-minute breaks.
Writing is designed to be at each individual's level, whether you're a first-time writer or an experienced wordsmith. Participants will have the option to send their work in for consideration for publication in an anthology.
Whether you’re an experienced writer or a total newcomer, young or old, come along and enjoy a morning of writing.
Held as part of Investing in Queensland Women.
Format
This is an in-person event for all writers.
