Queer Chapters
Description
🌈 Queer Chapters is Bathurst’s own in-person opportunity for those aged 16+ to listen to queer stories being read out by members of Bathurst’s queer community. Our headliner is Cadance Bell reading from her memoir, The All of It: A Bogan Rhapsody, alongside readings from works by David Sedaris, K. Patrick and Jazz Money.
🌈 At the event, 10% of all purchases made will go toward Rainbow West, a Lithgow-based queer group supported by the Lithgow Information & Neighbourhood Centre (LINC). Rainbow West hosts a variety of events for the Central West queer community and encouraged an event inspired by the Sydney Writer’s Festival’s Queer Stories to be brought west of the mountains.
