    BIG THICK ENERGY presents Queer Diary.

    A wholesome queer evening of live teen diary readings and nostalgia.
    Share your teenage angst, dreams, first crushes and embarrassing moments.


    What to expect on the night:

    Absolutely anyone can come onto the stage to read from their diaries (DM us beforehand or pop your name down upon arrival)

    Queer Dairy will be hosted by Mark Mariano, Doonside's funniest fatty who will also be sharing sweet stories from their very own personal diary.

    We are accepting song requests to play throughout ought the evening for that throwback teens moment...I'm expecting some Backstreet boys, Spice Girls and Destiny's Child moments!

     Please note:  Each reading has a time limit of 10mins.

    We will also have a Chatter box comp. Some groovy pens, stickers and paper will be available to make your very own bad ass chatter box to play with each other. The Best Chatter box wins a nostalgic prize!

    Best Dressed prize to be one. The theme is Teenage angst! 

    Can't find your diary?! That's okay boo! We welcome anyone to share their own teenage stories or original songs they practiced during recess and lunch!


    Event information:

    Location: Knox St Bar, Garage 11 Knox St (Corner of Shephard street, Chippendale) . 

    The location is Wheelchair accessible.

    Time: Doors open 7pm to then kick off reading at 7:30pm.

    Tickets: $25 online (limited tickets available) and $20 concession

    There's a bar for those who may need some liquid courage to come onstage!

    This is a safe space for LGBTQIA+ folks and allies. 

    Large seats available for big bodies and disabled bodies.
