    The Queerobodalla Festival is inviting you to join us for a vibrant celebration of LGBTQIA+ films and queer community. The Queer Film Club is screening short films at the Red Door Hall, Moruya on the 21st of June, 2024! 

    Get ready for an evening of diverse queer short films - curated by Queer Screen, raising the visibility of queer narratives from around the globe. From heartwarming tales to thought-provoking stories, Queer Film Club's Queerobodalla screening will be a rich tapestry of LGBTQIA+ experiences. 

    But wait, there's more! It's not just about the films; it's about coming together as a community. Before the screenings - join us for a sumptuous community dinner. Enjoy a night of connection, laughter, and celebration as we share in the joy of being part of Queerobodalla. 

    The pre-screening community dinner featuring home-cooked, local food (see below for more information) will be a wonderful opportunity for those attending the screening. Stay tuned for more details on this delectable experience!

    Queer Community Dinner: A Delectable Pre-Film Screening Feast

    Before our fabulous short-films screening begins - you are all invited to join us for a Queer Community Dinner: warm your souls and your stomachs. Local caterer, Sandra Makdessi is putting on a pre-movie feast, crafted with love and the finest of local produce, that will be sure to fill your cups!

    * As with all our Queerobodalla Pride events - we aim to make ticketing as accessible as possible. At only $15 for the meal - it's hard to resist! // Queer Community Dinner is a separate cost than the film screening - come to both or just choose one.

    Venue: Same as for Queer Film Club - the Red Door Hall, Page St, MoruyaTime: Before the screening - 5-6pm

    Menu: 

    Thai Pumpkin Soup:
    The velvety goodness of our Thai Pumpkin Soup is a perennial favorite. This winter comfort features sweet, roasted pumpkin and a hint of red curry - it'll be sure to spice up your heart and warm your bellies. 

    Rainbow Chard and Black-Eyed Beans Soup:

    How can a queer dinner go past Rainbow Chard?! This hearty soup with the earthy flavors of local rainbow chard and the satisfying texture of black-eyed beans will brighten up the cold night and nourish your soul. 

    Complementing our soups, we offer slices of Honor Bread and lashings of butter. 
    Both soups are vegan and GF.
    Please join us for a dinner, a celebration of community, warmth, pride and the joy of sharing a meal together.
