OUR POLICY:

Beers for Queers is a small, independent event and we strive to do everything in our power to make sure that everyone feels welcome. Beers for Queers aims to centre people whose voices aren't amplified in other spaces.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for bigotry of any kind and general disrespectful behaviour.

If anyone makes you feel uncomfortable at our events, we want to know about it. Please notify the organiser, Andy de Groot or send a message to the Queer Food on socials.

We want to keep this event as accessible as possible.

ACCESSIBILITY:

There will be unisex toilets.

The area is also accessible from the ground floor.

COVID SAFETY:

Mask-wearing indoors is no longer compulsory but is encouraged. If you are feeling unwell, please don't come.

Also, please do a RAT before you come if you can.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:

We are so grateful to be putting on this event but must remember that we are celebrating on stolen land. The Ngunnawal, Ngambri and Ngambri-Guumaal people are the traditional and true owners of the land, sovereignty was never ceded. We wholeheartedly pay respect and support to any elders of the land reading this or attending the event.

Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
