Queer Hike - Palentine's Day at Picchetti Ranch Open Space
Description
About this event
Join other members of our queer community and our friends at Caminar LGBTQ+ Wellness for a hike focused on friendship and community on Palentines Day! Get to know other members of the queer community while hiking through local open spaces! Participants can expect to walk up to three miles on dirt trails with varying widths. This event is for community members ages 18 and older.
Waivers/Registration: All participants must be registered individually and have approved the online waiver for Branching Out Adventures and Caminar LGBTQ+ Wellness through this page.
Meeting Location: Picchetti Ranch Open Space Parking (80 spaces + 2 ADA spaces)
Carpooling: Parking is limited, and carpooling is highly encouraged to reduce our environmental impact. Please use this carpool list to coordinate rides if you can!
Dogs: Dogs are not allowed on trails at this preserve. Service dogs are okay.
Accessibility:
There is little to no cell service in the park or the roads leading to it. Please visit the preserve website for detailed information on what amenities are available. This trail may not be wheelchair accessible.
Participating will require hiking up to three miles. The planned trail route can be found here.
