As part of Law Week 2024, hear from lawyer and trans masculine writer Sam Elkin, author of the new narrative non-fiction book Detachable Penis: A Queer Legal Saga, about practicing in LGBTIQA+ specialist law while being a member of the trans community.
Barrister Liz Bennett SC will deliver a keynote speech on current legal issues for the trans and gender diverse community in Victoria.
Hosted by historian, writer and podcaster Dr Yves Rees.
Paperback Books will be on hand to sell signed copies of the book at the event.
