Queer Lyfe - POC MAGIC!

Queer Lyfe is a life drawing class with a progressive twist. A unique opportunity for the artists and model to interact through pose, performance and conversation..... and now that covid is over now dance!

Held over 2 hours at Ching-A-Ling's Oxford St. Our Spooky season session with Eastside unlocked festival - Features the iconic King Cxntessa!

King Cxntessa (She/They) a Pasifika Queen based on Gadigal Land, draws inspiration and curiosity from past, present and futuristic styles of Drag, Theatre and Pacific Culture to create storyboards relatable to the human experience. A beautiful beast entails her movement, composed yet stanch!

Queer Sydney also welcomes the voodoo goddess Nancy Denis as our host for the evening to take us on a journey of melanin magic. 

Nancy Denis is a multidisciplinary artist writer, singer, producer, performer spanning across film, TV, theatre and dance. She continues to grow her work by expanding into visual arts and will be the features artist in residency with Red Rattler in 2023. You can also catch up with Nancy on her popular YouTube channel "The Nancy Denis Show" where she hosts a variety of artists and musicians.
