Queer Mind Meditations
Event description
Queer Mind Meditations is a program offering meditation, group therapy, breathwork, embodiment, nature connection and social engagement exercises for Canberra’s LGBTIQ+ community, families and allies. The program is available for free or by donation. All proceeds will go to the Pride Foundation Australia.
Queer Mind Meditations will provide participants with an opportunity to connect with the LGBTIQ+ community, whilst simultaneously practising various meditative, breathwork, embodiment, nature connection and therapeutic practices that support physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing.
Participants are supported with holistic, rapport-based relating psychotherapy principles, offering valuable insights and education on mental health matters.

Limited places are available each month. No experience is necessary.
Please be aware that the venue is located on level 1 and is not accessible to people with special accessibility needs. Some chairs are available for sitting; however, most participants are sitting on the ground.
