Description

🍿QUEER MOVIE NIGHT with Our Point 3✨

Join us for a bi-monthly queer film night celebrating LGBTQIA+ stories from around the world. Held every two months on a Saturday evening, this gathering invites community members, allies, and curious audiences to come together in a welcoming and relaxed space at Katheleen Syme Library.

Each session features a carefully selected film that explores diverse queer experiences, from intimate documentaries to bold narratives and cult classics. After the screening, audiences are invited to stay for an informal discussion to reflect, connect, and share perspectives.

This event aims to create a safer, inclusive space where queer stories are centred, celebrated, and collectively experienced.

All are welcome.✨

Lesbian Space Princes (2025 dir. Emma Hough Hobbs & Leela Varghese)

An introverted space princess is forced to leave her home planet on an inter-gay-lactic mission to save her ex-girlfriend from the Straight White Maliens. An animated comedy like no other, LESBIAN SPACE PRINCESS is a riotous, candy-coloured joy from start to finish: a locally made animation by emerging creatives that embraces LGBTQIA+ and culturally diverse voices, on and off-screen.

We are a not-for-profit organisation bringing LGBTQIA+ international students, alumni and allies together.

Many current and former international students are still questioning and exploring their gender and sexuality identities. Many LGBTQIA+ international students and graduates are seeking meaningful connections and a community where they truly belong. They appreciate a place without boxes, where it's all about respect and acceptance. At the same time, there are amazing allies who want to learn how to better support their LGBTQIA+ friends, family and communities.

Then, Our Point 3 became the only not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting LGBTQIA+ international students and alumni, by and for the community.
