Queer Read-in Club

Queer Read-in Club is not your usual book club, it is a social space for LGBTQ+ people to come together and do one of our favourite things: read.

The idea behind a read-in is you bring something you are currently, or want to start reading, we gather together and all settle down to an hour and a half of uninterrupted quiet time just to read.

Once that time is up you can head off or stay for the last half-hour of book chat - the social part where we get to say hello and chat to each other about what we are currently reading.

We keep the social part at the end so that there isn't any pressure to join in, and if you want to you can just come and join us for the quiet reading time without the need to interact.

There will be someone there each month to lead the session who will welcome you if you are new and keep an eye on the time and lead the book chat at the end.
