    Queer Social Darebin: Boxing for Everyone with Emily

    Ever wanted to try out boxing in a supportive, fun environment were everyone is welcomed? That space is Pony Club Gym and this class will have to throwing upper cuts in no time! Come and have a play, move a little and discover how much fun boxing is.

    This event will be half social chats with a bunch of like minded queer people and half fun, educational and interactive workshop.

    All workshops are taught by queers, for queers.

    What we will cover?

    We will start with a warm up to get us all going.

    Then we’ll go on to learn some basic techniques and movements for beginners.

    We’ll also work a little on cardio and end with a cool down and debrief.

    All levels of fitness welcomed!

    Who will be teaching?Β 

    Emily has 15 years experience in martial arts is an Australian Champion 2012 and Australian Championships Silver medalist 2013! Emily is ready not just to give us a good cardio hit but also teach strong technique and turn us into badass queers.
    Emily is also a Golden Gloves Silver Medalist, has 20 fights across boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai and as an added bonus is a drummer in a punk band! Whoa!

    Pony Club Gym: More than just another gym… PCG is a big dream that hopes to integrate safety, education and the very important notion that ALL people deserve to have access to strength, fitness and wellbeing, regardless of who they are, how they live or what they believe. Check them out!
