Queer Social Darebin: Learn Sewing via Plush Hearts with Robert

Event description

Learn hand sewing basics while creating a cute plushie heart that can be used as a key chain or home decor! Together we'll learn how to work with plush fabric, read and cut a simple pattern and some basic stitches to get us going. Come and join us for a queer good time!

This event will be half social chats with a bunch of like minded queer people and half fun, educational and interactive workshop.

All workshops are taught by queers, for queers.

What we will cover?

We will learn the basics of hand sewing including backstitch, blanket stitch and ladder stitch.

We will also learn the basics of creating a 3d plush from a pattern. Participants will be provided with all the items they need to complete their plush at home if they don't finish it during the class.
