Queer Social: Mixed Rope Basket Weaving with Maria
Event description
This event will be half social chats with a bunch of like-minded queer people and half fun, educational and interactive workshop.
Learn a simple technique to make rope baskets in no time! Maria will show you an easy macrame hack to make any size basket out of rope.
Mix different rope types and sizes to make colourful designs or keep it simple with just cotton rope.

Who will be Teaching?
Maria (she/her) is a serial crafter. She loves learning about new crafts and techniques! She does crochet, macrame, sewing, pottery, weaving and likes to explore how these crafts can be combined and expanded.
In addition to plants and crafting, she also has a passion for cooking and baking, light painting and running Laneway Learning. You can follow her plantstagram @malayebra.
