Queer Space Opening

The UC Student Representative Council is excited to announce the opening of the UC Queer Space!

The space will welcome all members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies as a safe space to relax, meet and study. It is an important new community space on campus and the SRC is delighted that we get to share it with everyone. The space is located in "The Hub" downstairs from the concourse, right near Mizzuna Cafe.

Please join us for a morning tea event to celebrate the opening of the space. Special guests for the opening will include Chancellor Lisa Paul AO PSM and Architect for the project Rob Henry. Light refreshments will be provided by DVCA for the occasion. The event will give all members of the UC Community an opportunity to tour the space, hear from the project team and architect and celebrate the opening of an inclusive new space on campus.
