QUEER BALL IS BACK! Bigger & even queerer.

Come support Queer artists and Queer charities in the bay celebrating our COLOURFUL community.

Our intention for this event is to support queer artists and raise money for queer charities while bringing the community together for a sexy event.

There is no event like this in the Northern Rivers. A full day festival combining Queer musicians and artists, a panel, live music, bands, DJs, markets and delicious food and drink in a beautiful venue. A mini day festival.

This mini-festival is a full day to be in your heart, to explore identity and culture, celebrate our artists, and the arts and feel included, connected and seen. An opportunity to stop division and come together to unite in the freedom of expression, connection, art of listening deeply to others' lived experiences and healing and celebrate the history of our community.

Shedding Community, to help raise money so that they can build a shed and do more workshops in the community.

"Shedding Community Workshop offers an all-inclusive safe environment to learn skills in carpentry, building and everything in between. We teach these hands-on life skills as an avenue toward self-empowerment, resilience and community connection. We use natural, reclaimed and recycled materials to work sustainably with the environment. Our motto, "shed your fears and build with curiosity" - Sophie / Founder

"That was the most connective sassy, fun and expansive Queer event I have attended. Getting there early, enjoying the panel, and connecting with the community was felt throughout the entire event. I met new friends, danced my booty off and was left buzzy for a week after, can not wait for the next one!!"

Rachael

“The queer ball invites the bay to come together to expand their ideas on sexuality, to hear alternative perspectives of growing up in a heteronormative society, to dance with the trees for a cause and to provide safe spaces for the queers and those who love queers to celebrate our community. Expand your minds, bodies and spirits through conversation, dance, music, connection, expression and art and much much more." -
