Queers in the Garden November Workshop
Description
Connect with nature and community through the gentle practice of therapeutic horticulture.
Fawkner Food Bowls is opening its gates once again for a Mindful Gardening Workshop created for the local LGBTQIA+ community.
Guided by Well Grown’s Shani (they/she), participants will explore the blooming springtime garden beds of the Bowls while connecting with nature, themselves and each other. Together, we’ll experience the wellbeing benefits of nurturing and sharing time in nature within a supportive and welcoming environment.
All people who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community are warmly welcome!
Beginner gardeners to horticultural wizards welcome!
Fawkner Food Bowls is situated on the stolen, unceded land of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong Boon Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin Nation.
Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
