Event description

It's our 3rd birthday! Expect a beautiful celebration of gender diversity in a night of drag, music, spoken word and performance. If you're trans, gender diverse, queer or someone who loves us, you cannot miss this event - it has to be experienced to be believed. You'll be moved, entertained and you'll find your community!

Queers of Joy is a vital space for trans, gender diverse, queer people and all who love us. We gather on the unceded lands of the Gadigal people and continue to pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land.

Doors open at 7pm and the event begins at 7.30pm.

The Red Rattler Theatre is wheelchair accessible.

There is free parking outside the venue and on Sydenham Road.

The event is Auslan interpreted.

You are invited to participate in a way that works for you - if you do require quiet or rest breaks you can come and go as you like.

The space is general admission. If you have a specific requirement to be seated away from speakers or any other access requirement please let us know.

Queers of Joy is a sacred container for us all to enjoy.

For this event, after we have covered costs we are donating the proceeds to The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. You can read more about what they do here: PCRF https://www.pcrf.net/
