Tired of Tinder? Frothin' for friends? Come along for a cute and casual speed dating/friending party at Dr Morse, hosted by Mitch Ryan. You'll go on a selection of snappy dates with a heap of hotties, drinking and talking and probably drinking some more. You can expect to be one of 40-76 people. There'll be a playlist to get you movin' and a super special alt-drag performance!
We'll have tonnes of conversation cards with all the most important first date Qs like "Do you go to therapy?" and "How would you spend a day with Pedro Pascal?" as well as a competition to submit your own, where you can win a $50 bar voucher!
Tickets are just over a dollar a date and this one is for queer people of all genders inclusive of those who are trans and/or gender diverse. There will be no policing of gender, no matter which ticket you choose to buy. This means that it's possible you may date some people who don't necessarily align with your preferences/attractions but we hope that you agree new friends are also great!!! Non monog/polyamorous babes are also very welcome. We'll make sure that there's lots of time during and after the event to mingle and chat to whoever you want. Don't let us call your night short, continue to drink and hang out afterwards!

FAQs
Will I date everyone?
Not usually, no. There will be between 40 and 76 people, however you'll only go on 18-22 dates. There'll be ample time throughout the event to chat to people that you won't date though, so please don't be shy. You don't need to be sat at a table to have a nice convo.
Can I buy a ticket on the door?
We recommend buying tickets online, but you can do this right up until 7.30pm on the night of the event (assuming the event hasn't sold out, which it often does).
Is there an age range?
We don't have an age policy but to give you a guide our demographic is usually people in their 20s and 30s, with most attendees sitting between 25 and 35.
Do I get free drinks just for showing up?
Nah. A lot of speed dating companies build 'free' drinks into the ticket price, but we'd rather keep prices accessible and let you decide how much or little you'd like to drink on the night.
How much privacy will we have?
We'll have the exclusive use of the beer garden - no lurkers, only ticket holders!
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes, that's fine. If you can let us know of any name changes prior to the event it's always appreciated.
What's your refund policy?
Refunds are available up to 7 days prior to the event. This is an automated process that can be carried out via Humanitix and no reason is needed. Otherwise:
Stuck at Work/Something Came Up - If you can no longer attend the event for reasons other than illness, you will need to let us know a minimum of 4 hours prior to the event start time in order to receive a transfer to the next event. We are able to transfer your tickets once only, to the next event only, and there will be no transfers or refunds after the first transfer.
Covid-19/Flu - If you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms or test positive for Covid-19, you can let us know at any point up until the event start time and we will transfer your ticket(s) to the next event or, if you're unable to make that date, issue you a credit voucher for future use.
We won't be able to offer you a transfer/credit voucher for any reason if you are a no-show/don't contact us until after the event has started. The nature of the event means we're heavily reliant on numbers, so please be conscious of this and give us as much notice as possible.
